Senior Procurement Associate (for Event)

Job Summary:

The procurement role involves sourcing and acquiring goods, services, or works needed by an organization at the best possible value. This includes evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products while controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet business needs.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Lead procurement projects, ensuring seamless execution, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies.
4. Analyze supplier performance, market trends, and procurement data to drive cost savings and process improvements.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure optimal pricing, terms, and service levels from vendors.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
7. Monitor procurement budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency across purchasing activities.
8. Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
9. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
10. Utilize procurement software and ERP systems to streamline purchasing processes and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field; at least 2+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the event management, TV or agency industry.
2. Strong ability to manage advanced purchasing activities, negotiate contracts, and secure optimal procurement outcomes.
3. Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure effective collaboration and supply chain efficiency
4. Ability to lead specific procurement projects, ensuring smooth execution, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with company goals.
5. Demonstrated expertise in negotiation strategies to achieve favorable pricing, terms, and supplier agreements.
6. Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance, market trends, and procurement data for informed decision-making.
7. Ability to mentor and train junior team members, fostering skill development and contributing to team success.
8. Experience using procurement software, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools to track purchasing performance.
