Junior Data Analyst

Position Overview

The Junior Data Analyst supports the Finance Department in assisting Senior Finance Planning and Analyst in doing financial analysis (as requested), hospital pricing analysis and updating financial model (for hospital). This role also assists in collecting and compiling financial data needed for the forementioned activities.

Key Outcome

Data compilation

Ensure all data being compiled are accurate, complete, reliable and tabularized properly. This includes financial data needed for monthly financial reporting, budgeting and financial models.

Financial analysis assistance

Assisting person-in-charge in preparation of financial reporting analysis as expected.

Updated financial model

Assisting person in charge in updating finance model properly and accurately.

Updated financial budget

Collect, compile, and organize financial and operational data required for budgeting and financial projection analysis.

Compliance and Audit Readiness

Maintain proper documentation and ensure compiled financial and non-financial data comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Department Coordination

Ensure timely coordination with internal departments to obtain required financial information and documentation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist person-in-charge to provide data (including collection and compilation) needed in monthly financial reports preparation, budgeting and financial modelling.
2. Assist person-in-charge in analysing financial report, preparing/updating financial budgeting and preparing/updating financial models.
3. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain required financial information and documentation.
4. Ensure all activities conducted in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
5. Perform other finance and accounting administrative tasks as assigned.

Selection Criteria

1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma 3 in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; 1–2 years of related-field experience is an advantage.
3. Basic knowledge of accounting and finance.
4. Excel with Microsoft Excel.
5. Strong attention to detail and good data management skills.
6. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
