The role

You'll be the founder's right hand on e-commerce operations and product — the person who makes sure everything behind the scenes is set up correctly, down to the last barcode. A big part of the job is preparing and managing production orders: turning supplier documents into clean, correct data, checking that quantities, EANs and specifications all line up, and catching mistakes before they become expensive. You'll also keep our product catalog spotless, run product research, support day-to-day analysis, and — importantly — help make our operation smarter by using AI and automation to improve how we work. AI tools (including Claude Code) are a core part of the role.

This is a full-time role for someone who genuinely enjoys precise, structured work, takes pride in “everything is correct,” and gets excited about building better systems.

What you'll do

·      Production orders: prepare and manage POs, cross-check supplier packing lists & invoices, verify quantities, EANs/barcodes and product specs, and track timelines.

·      Product data & Shopify: create and maintain products, variants and listings in the Shopify backend; keep the catalog accurate and consistent.

·      Quality & accuracy checks: verify that data, samples and specifications match — you're the last line of defense against errors.

·      Systems, AI & automation: help optimize how our operation runs — spot repetitive or error-prone work and build smarter, AI-powered and automated workflows that save time and reduce mistakes.

·      Product research: sourcing, specifications, competitor and market research.

·      Data & AI analysis: pull together numbers, spot inconsistencies, and use AI tools (Claude / Claude Code) to work faster and smarter.

·      Management assistance: a variety of hands-on tasks to support the founder and keep operations running smoothly.

What we're looking for (must-have)

·      Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy — with barcodes/EANs, numbers and specs, you get it right every time.

·      E-commerce experience — especially hands-on in the Shopify backend (products, variants, catalog management).

·      Proven experience working remotely — reliable and self-managing, you deliver without close supervision.

·      Strong with spreadsheets and data (Excel/Google Sheets) and comfortable checking and analyzing numbers.

·      Hands-on experience with AI tools — specifically Claude / Claude Code.

·      Experience preparing and managing production or purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.

·      A natural quality-control mindset.

·      Strong written and spoken English.

Strong plus

·      Experience working remotely for a Western/European company (you know how to communicate and collaborate across cultures and time zones).

·      Experience using AI and automation to streamline operations and processes (e.g. automating repetitive tasks, connecting tools, building workflows) — exactly the kind of thinking we want.

·      Experience with marketplaces and/or 3PL/fulfilment and import logistics.

·      Light technical skills (SQL, data visualization, no-code/automation tools).

·      A good eye for product and design.
